Hi All ,

I was nearly an Ex - Triumph rider today !!!!

I was going to work on the A56 towards the M66 when a HGV in front of me had a tyre blow out !

A piece of tyre tread about 2ft long came hurlting towards me and hit my bike while i was doing 50 , it hit my left fork and body work where the TT is and along the left side .

I,ve got the reg of the HGV and reported it to the dibble and my insurance .

I got sent home from work , i was in shock !

The chunk of tread hit my left fork and belted my fairing and left an imprint of the tread smeared down the left of the bike it looks like a truck has ran over it !

When it hit it jolted my bars to the left and the bike followed , i had to wrestle with it to keep it from going into the inside lane got her back and then nearly hit the central barrier .

My thumb and wrist are starting to give me gip so i,m going to the Doc,s to get it checked out .

My solicitor contacted me today , he basically said tell em to feck off , you only want a rough idea how much it,s going to come too . So told me just to go to a local dealer for now and then get triumph to do the work later .

He was rubbing his hands when i told him what happend and that i went to the docs with pain in my wrist and asm going for an x-ray !
