Any one else going from the west / south west area of preston? I'll be riding over from Southport.

I went on an open day which was at the weekend, so there was no production going on, but it were still very interesting. I could've watched the guy painting the lines on the tanks all afternoon.
You'll enjoy it.

I went at the end of last year and I thought it was really good. I may go again this year as well.

Went on Wednesday - nice ride down from Blackburn (12 of us). Very impressive factory. AVOID M6 BIRMINGHAM LIKE THE PLAGUE! PAY THE POUND FOR THE TOLL ROAD. filtering for a few miles @ around 20mph was tough in the heat as well. Good experience for us newbies though.

If you like Triumph - go visit ( you get a badge aswell - woopeee) :-D

Eh up...
It's a fantastic couple of hours!
I organised a trip down there from my workplace and everyone (inc the non-bikers) enjoyed it. The fella that takes you round positively belt feeds you the information...he really knows his stuff.
Whats particularly good about it is it's a British manufacturer opening it's doors to have it's production techniques scrutinised by all & sundry. They are obviuosly very confident in what they are doing! Imagine Suzuki/Kawasaki doing the same?
Check out the Lime Kilns pub for lunch....a couple of minutes down the road.
All the best...
Bob
