Plans have come together and I will be going to the TT next year. Ballacraine and I are trying to get ferry pricing on just a person and also a person and a bike. Prices wont be available until december so anyone do this last year?

Also, whats a good place to hire a bike around Dublin. Doesnt have to be a Trumpet.

Can't help you with the bike hire, but if you're planning to go the TT in 2007 you really need to book now on line at www.2007tt.com if you haven't already done so - £20 per person deposit. I believe the ferries are already 90% booked and filling fast. The prices will be approx the same as this year plus a few £'s I paid £168 for a bike + rider for this year's TT, the foot passenger would have been in the region of £70. What ever the IOMSPC charge, you won't be disappointed, this years TT was absolutely fantastic. I booked for 2007 last year. Get your deposit paid now and stuff the expense.
See you there

I'm staying with Ballacraine and will have access to one of his bikes while on the Isle so that's one thing I don't have to worry about. I'm also looking for info on hiring a bike in Ireland as when I lived there I wasn't old enough to ride and I've always wanted to ride around Erie.

Charlie, was that round trip? That's pretty expensive one way. Euromanx is only £40

The round trip was £168, it's the same price from Liverpool or Heysham. You might save a couple of £'s if you travel in the very early hours of the morning, but it is only a few £'s and in my opinion it's much better to pay a bit extra and arrive on the island without having missed a night's sleep, but the main things you get there.
