Nothing to do with the title at all, apart from Sussex. Anyone who lives down this way (taking the cue from the Pidcocks thread), who is your favourite dealer/garage and why? I'd be most interested.
Me, I use a back strret bike garage called Revs. The work is good, but sometime I wonder if I should query the prices.

as I only got my Bonneville recently, I haven't needed any servicing done. But to keep up the FTSH I am going to use Alfs Motorcycles in Worthing. I can't recommend them for work as I've never had work done yet by them. But they seem straight enough albeit a bit pricey. I actually bought my Triumph from HughendenM40 as they seemed cheaper on price (I bought a 2003 Bonneville in late April 2006).

Alan Brown Motorcycles in Bognor Regis is a fair enough guy and when I had my BMW (a K75) I had work done on it and a service. I asked for a price beforehand and it was quite reasonable. He is based on the Durban Road Trading estate Bognor Regis.

Thats about it over here in Littlehampton area.

Cheers,

Casper

I use Carl Rosner in Sanderstead. They do all the servicing on the bike (only because I want FSH!) but I used them because
1) They let me borrow an S4 for a whole day to try before I brought one - and I racked up 300 miles on it!
2) I work in Croydon/Wimbledon and I can drop the bike off and still get to work
3) They know who their customers are by sight - your not just a faceless biker unlike a few places *cough* infinity *cough* P&H *cough* and are a extremely friendly bunch!

Useful stuff-by the way, I bought my bike privately, but with a full service history from On Yer Triumph. The brake and clutch fluid had never been changed and resembled dark treacle, and they had clearly not carried out several other servicing jobs...

Alfs are only down the road from me, so I guess I'll be using them to service my Thruxton. They're a decent crowd, but are still a business and out to make a profit and stay in business.
I bought a kawasaki from them a couple of years ago and they look after that. No complaints and haven't noticed them being expensive (for a main dealer that is)!
