hi,could anyone please tell me if the later trident had different handlebars to the earliest trident (higher).i've got a 1991 trident 900 great bike but after riding for about 30 minutes my fingers go numb,or maybe i'm going soft in my old age,probably i will get used to this in time.just wondered if the bars were different.any advice appreciated.dave.

Yes they are. Early Tridents had sportier bars. I've got a set of the higher bars, I'll swap em for your lower ones if you like! I'm in Brum.

hi nick,thanks for the offer,but i have now fitted a pair of sprint manufacturing bar risers,they have made a massive improvement.regards dave

Ok no matter. Pity though as I'm looking for a set of those early bars for my D1200. I have the later ones but they are no good with the fairing.
