Hello all, i have only just found Rat.net, its ace !!! only been riding a Triumph since September 05 (99 speedtriple) but i wish i'd bought one years ago. I always liked the look of the Speedtriple but did'nt want to move on from the UJM's i have been brought up on. I live in Leeds and my main interests are drag racing and streetfighters, i have done a bit of drag racing in the last few years but nowt serious. I have been riding bikes since the age of nine, i'm now 41, so i've covered a few miles in my time. Hope to see some of you out on the road and in the pub ? Will be at this years TT.
Dave.

Hi, I'm Tracy. I ride an 02 Speed Triple 955 in Nuclear red.

Personally, I think it's the best colour...but then you got to have balls to ride a pink bike. (Cuts down on the SMIDSY risk anyway; you'd need to be comatose not to see it.)

I live in Hampshire, and use my bike for daily commuting. It's great...well-behaved and reliable. I can happily ride it all day, but I'm told the pillion seat isn't so comfy.

Hello all,
Found this site about a year ago when I was researching into changing my bike. That lead me to buy a 2002 Sprint ST and I love it!

Previous to that I had a Yamaha 900 Diversion and a couple of Harleys (Sportster XL1200 and FXDS Conv).

I use my bike year round for touring, Sunday blasts and commuting now and again. Last year I did Land's End to John O'Groats in a day on the Sprint - no problem.

The Sprint is my favourite bike yet - it does everything I want so well. I haven't had a ride on the 1050 ST yet, coz I know that as soon as I do, I'll want one!!

Looking forward to the weekend when I'm off ob a trip around the North York moors - can't wait.

Nigel.

Hey all.

I'm Gina and I ride an America. Got it end of July/ Start of August on the day I passed my test!

Since then I've ridden her most days mainly as I don't have a car. I've not done too much long distance riding as the confidence is not 100% yet. But getting there.

I lurk on here most of the time... I've got too much chrome to polish!

I've also been told I'm now social sec for the Bristol Branch of TOMCC...I know this is a RAT forum but my local pack doesn't do much. The pack at Taylor Racing at Chippenham is fantastic but a 40 mile each way trip, so I don't go very often.

Gina

Hello there

I'm located in St Neots, Cambs. Been riding for 25 years now.....makes me feel old!

On my fourth Triumph now - an 02 Sprint RS purchased a few days ago from North City Triumph in Chigwell. I couldn't recommend them highly enough - great people.
