Thanks for that. If you ever decide to come up on the bike, drop me a line and I'll give you some routes (or places to visit and you can join up the places yourself). That goes for anyone else out there of course!

hi there everybody it's doctor Bob!

Sorry couldn't resist a simpsons momment.
Andys the name, live in london, was brought up on bikes as my dad was mad about em and my older brother too boot. Like a viral infection if your exposed to it long. you have it for life! ha
Anyway new to trumpets, but after having more bikes than you can shake a stick at from every configuration the one that i hadn't experienced was the three pot, speed triple was my desicion, 1050 late 05 model loved and cared for by previous owner and now been giving a good old fashioned thrashing with lots of after riding attention. hope to see you guys on the road or at a cafe soon

Smile new triumph owner

got fed up with going too fast. was going to get banned or worse. around here even country roads are getting 50mph limits on them. so i bit the bullet and now have an 08 red speedmaster! total different way of seeing life. yesterday a kwak zzr something or other sped past me and i couldnt care less!!
now instead of a 30 minute wash with a sponge over acres of plastic and then sticking the bike in the garage, i can spend a pleasant few hours with my mp3 on and pamper the chrome etc on the speedmaster ( sissy bar. light bar , screen etc ) reminds me of being a teenager again when bikes where all naked and chrome.
"old skool baby!"

Smile Sprint

Hello all.

Got myself an 07 Sprint ST (Caspian Blue) a few weeks ago and loving it. The more I ride it the more I like it.

Get most of my ride outs with friends from the "Northukbikers" web site. Not many Triumphs on the site and I can't think of any other Sprints, certainly not in the NE of England.

Me and the Wife will probably go to the next Durham RAT meet next week (weather permitting).

Saw a blue Sprint travelling with a 1050 Tiger South on A68 West Woodburn area on 2 June. No luggage (unlike my silver ST as I was on my way back from Skye) so probably local. So there is at least one out there-or was it you! I'll check that site out you mentioned, thanks.

Was'nt me. I did'nt have my Sprint then and I don't know anyone with a white Tiger.

I have seen a Blue Sprint, same as mine, travelling from the Cramlington area down the A1. I am usually heading in the oppisite direction (to and from work).

2004 SPD Triple owner

Hi All, name is Robert, just joined after buying a 2004 Speed Triple, live in Glasgow and am a retired Firefighter, (was a fireman but the PC brigade made me change to F/Fighter), Had my first ride on it today, very nice, couple things need changing for personal preferences but enjoyed it. Had a BMW R1200 ST before this which I used for going to work etc., Felt I needed to change for a number of reasons so bought the Speed Triple from a nice guy called Dave in Liverpool. l also have 1965 BSA A65 Lightning Clubman.
Cheers
Robert
