Just spotted this. Names Tom and I live in South Wales near Pontypool. Originally from Lincolnshire and still go back pretty often. Been riding since I was 17 (11 years now, crikey) on road, and a few on fields before that! Always wanted a Speed Triple and bought one in a bit of a state last year. She's going through the third set of improvements as we speak! I ride all year round and also have a ratty 88 GPZ500, a flat track 79 SR500, a partly built TR1, a '97 firestorm that I bought on a whim four weeks ago (1500miles so far ) and a little 84 CBX125F (yeah try and find another in the UK...) that I'm fixing up for my girlfriend.
I was the UK's youngest ever fully qualified bike instructor at 21, but it ruined riding for me. I'm not a RAT member as I don't know how to be/not sure anyone would want my nasty triple near their newer bikes Hope to see some of you around.

First would like to say looking forward to meeting and talking to you all

I'm Matt From Bristol. DOn't have a Triumph yet but have put down my money on a 2008 Speed triple that i will be getting in March.
only my second bike, but after test riding various other bikes including a gix 750, Superduke etc.. I love the Speed triple. always wanted on since I first seen the 1050cc model back in 2005 ( my cousins bike)

Hi People, I havent been around for over 12 months, so thought i'd say hello again, just got my S3 back on the road nearly 15 months after the gearbox, clutch, head gasket and fuel injectors packing up......all fixed now but with suzi Hyabuza injectors in place of the std s3 ones, what a difference they make, uses a tad more fuel but the low speed commuting is much smoother, well happy now I'm back on my S3, hope to see some of you out and about in the UK now I'm back over here....

Hello,
Good to find you.
I got my DAS in 2006 and my first bike soon after - a Black TT600 from a dark corner of the dealers cupboard, 0 miles and still in the box!
Done my 4000 miles and just ordered a new Sprint ST for March. Planning to get the heated grips (it's England), shock shroud and axle covers sorted before I pick it up. I wonder if there's anything else I should be having added while the front end is off and the tools are out?
