Where and when will you be going and for how long? Have you ridden or driven anywhere in Europe before? How long ago?

Will you just be "riding around" or have you got specific goals in mind?

Ok, if you're going to France, Eurotunnel is the way to go; Spain, ferry from Portsmouth to Santander/Bilbao. Camping is excellent in France, I've done it often; probably same in Spain but I haven't camped there.

Make sure you read up in advance what the speed limits and other traffic regulations are; they're similar but different to here in England. Don't even think about drinking and driving and be careful the morning after as well.

Take out breakdown cover.

You'll love it

I am organising a trip to the Black Forest (Germany) in August next year. I have a dozen bikes travelling Hull - Rotterdam. Ten days. If you are interested let me know. Check it out on the Triumph website.
