Angry Help a dunce

Hello folks, I just joined this last night whilst looking for a Scrambler to buy. Now I am having great difficulty in navigating it and wondering why nearly everything is from the US. Surely theres a UK version where we can swop ideas and plan rides, I live in the NEw Forest and see loads of HOGS going by so where are the Triumphs? Furthermore what do you think of the Scrambler, worth the money or a show pony. Look forward to your answers if I can find them on the site !!

Welcome to the forum R and yes you have come to the right place. There's only one TriumphRat.net. We have many members in the UK, in Canada, USA, South Africa, Australia and various swathes of Europe.

You've just taken your first step towards getting a scrambler by posting here and you should also post in the Twins section.

If you're up for a ride this weekend, how about the Spinal Research rideout from Horam to Brooklands

It's not clumsy! - Just big.

go to:

and
http://www.triumphrat.net/triumph-motorcycles-for-sale/

Introduce yourself in Twins-talk and lurk around the classifieds.

Good luck.

Scrambler - neat, I'm using mine as an everyday bike for commuting. Petrol economy OK, low fifties mpg. Manoueverable in traffic and reasonably quick. Not the fastest thing on the motorway, but is comfortable around 80ish. And it is the prettiest bike in their range. Look in the bike section of Autotrader, there will be plenty there, so long as you dont mind travelling for it.

Hello RG welcome
Ive had my scrambler for a year now (traded in my supermoto) used it all through winter and commuting ,a nice fun bike and turns heads, the power wont blow you away but it has a nice torquey engine and is comfortable ,get yourself a test ride and see what you think.

Hello Buck Dodger.
I just saw your response to my info request and can report that I now have a red and white job which is going to keep me amused for some time. I see from later threads that you're having jetting and starting problems so I hope I can avoid those. I have now changed my name to Ukforester and am beginning to understand how this web site works so expect more contact from me. Thanks a lot Dick
