Boring questions about new bonnies

Hey guys, i am thinking about getting a new Bonnie and just wanted to ask some really boring questions as i have never had a bike before.

1. How much does it cost to fill the tank?
2. Whats the MPG on these things?
3. How much would road tax be?
4. Would it bankrupt me (age 21) getting insured

Cheers sorry for these really dry questions, nice forums i am hooked!

It's just over a 4 gallon tank -- I usually hit the reserve around 3.5 gallons and it costs me about 6 or 7 bucks to fill er up, US prices.

Before I modded anything, I was just short of 50 MPG, about 48 usually. Since I've done some tweaking, I am 38 - 40 MPG now.

Sounds like your in the UK, but here in the US, there is a bit of difference in price, insurance wise, that makes it worth while to shop around. I'm 48 and I pay right about $200, but there were some companies that wanted almost double that for the same exact coverage.

2) 50-60. depends how hard you want to push
3) £66
4) My first year's insurance (age 54) was £220 - have a look at MCE's website
