BEARS racing at Ruapuna, 24 Feb

If anyone is interested I'll be leaving Street and Sport at about 10.00 and taking the long way to Ruapuna (Summit road, then Gebbies pass). Glenn is racing his Gas Gas, so the van will be there to stow helmets and jackets in.

Sounds great! And do wish Glen all the best. I am on the 1400 sailing on the 23rd heading up North on a journey of discovery and adventure and "Good Pub Hunting" ending up at the National Triumph Rally.

I am sure the racing will be great and hope Don (from next door) has the 'Yellow Beast' at full cry.

Wave the Mainland flag

Have a bloody good ride and rally. I'll pass Glenn your regards.

I will be there on Sunday in the old RentaTriumph van with a BBQ in the back and some cold ones. Taking my son out and catching up with some of the TOMCC boys.

The girls do not want to do the Summit Road.
Because they do not like the road and are slow so do not want to hold up anyone.
One if them has a pillon and is not use to having one.
So will go around the Bays to Gebbies Pass to meet us there.

I'll do the Summit Rd with you Dave.

I'm posting this in case there are others that would prefer to do the Bays way to Gebbies Pass.
As I know more than a few riders that do not like that road much.

All three of us will meet you at Street and Sports.:

That makes sense, and Corky, your BBQ and cold ones is music to my ears - better than the thunder of a thousand Harleys going through the crusher. I assume you'll be calling for donations?

Hi Dave

Im supplying food for myself and bout 5 others in my group. It isn't a organised BBQ for the TOMCC or RAT as it is coming out of my own pocket. In saying that I may have a couple spare sausages there. If you and your friends want to throw some steaks, patties or beers in your packs then by all means come over to where I will be as I will have ice and a BBQ to cook the meat on. I will plan lunch for 1pm round on the hairpin bend on the opposite side of the track to the pits. There is a large stand on the hairpin and you will see the RentaTriumph van there.
