Hi Tmcmkiwi

Will do. I might see if my able Lieutenant Wayne Woodward can also attend. We have a heap of business to get through at tomorrow nights meeting including the National rally late February but will throw some dates around at the meeting for our overnighter at Whitecliffs.

Hi Scam

Be at Street N Sport 9am and the meeting place is the alley behind the shop. I believe the ride is still to Maruia Springs and back to the shop round 3pm for a BBQ and Beers. Everyone welcome, even non members riding vespas. Never know they may upgrade one day to Triumphs :-)

Well that went well

everyone seemed to have a good time, and the weather was superb. The joys of blasting through South Island hills on a Triumph, especially one as sexy as the Street Triple.

**** that's a fine bike, and Phil has fallen in love with your Sprint.

Hi first post and now seems to be as good a time as ever to say Hi.
Since I have now meet a few of you.

I think that you can figure out who I am, from my bike.

Yes it was a great day for a ride and no tickets, thank goodness.

Now all I have to do is figure out which Triumph?

I got a green model Speed Triple for my birthday (thats tomorrow) from my mother-in-law.

And guess which bike shop she bought it from.
Is this a sign or what?

Thanks for making me welcome to my first RAT ride.
I had a blast.

Speed Triple

that would be my choice out of the two, but the big Daytona is a stunning piece of kit.

Look forward to seeing you on the next RAT run, only next time on your own Triumph.

I'm leaning towards the (03)Daytona as it has the newer motor and larger fuel tank, may end up stripping off the fairing to make it a Speed Triple with clip-on's.

The better-half wants me to get the new Speed Triple.

That makes sense - that would give it a very similar feel to your Guzzi.

Thanks for the compliment and thanks for making me welcome on my first R.A.T. run ...I had a blast.
Sorry i didnt make it back to the shop for a beer and BBQ but I turned off at Amberly so i didnt have to put up with riding thru the city and the straight road back to Ashburton.Went thru Rangiora / Oxford and round the back to Rakaia Gorge, tagged on the back of some Triumphs all the way back to methven then home for a total of 596.5km for the day ...no wonder i was getting a bit sore in the bum and hand departments ..but hey no pain no gain
Once again thanks for the ride and i will see you for the next run ...keep me posted
and lemansnz either of the bikes would be fantastic as they both have TRIUMPH on them
