I rode down for Sat. It was fun, bands food, beer etc. lots of people & bikes. I made a day of it.....took abut an hour and half to get each way. It was extremely hot that day. Shade was a bit of a challenge

I have been going over the last couple years. I am a big music fan and they put on a great event. For a Triumph fan this is a must attend event.

It's great to be alive!

Barring any unforeseen conflicts, I plan to be there.

I went a couple of years ago and my only regret was not actually riding my bike down. I took my wife for the weekend (would have been a 9 hour drive) and it was nearly unbearably hot for all 3 days. Was busy but you could still get around with plenty to do and see. Would love to see it edge to just a retro motorcycle event instead of the odd hotrods etc, and maybe get some racing or something of the sort going. Would be awesome if we had an event like the Barbour closer than a flight away from me, but this is the best Mods/Rockers type event in the area.

Heading out on the T120 early Friday morning...weather looks a bit sketchy along my route but I don't care. Looking forward to it.

I will do that...with a name like 'Sparkles' he/she should be pretty easy to find!

Sounds good, my friend...I'll ask around and look for the 2011 Thruxton, although I'm guessing there will two or three of those there?
