British Customs

Just checking to see if anyone in Canada has ordered from British Customs, one of the site sponsors? If so any feedback, delivery time, additional charges (UPS et al), customer service. I was thinking of placing an order with them but wanted to ask around first.

Thanks,
dave

Never ordered from them but I try to get everything from the US sent USPS. UPS and Fed Ex charge an additional brokerage fee plus delivery has to be to an address. USPS delivers to Canada Post so I can get stuff at my local post office.

I ordered stuff from them..Came quick, and was as expected. They worked with me over the phone to get me the right parts, so no problems.

I ordered the BC Perf Package, Pazzo levers, (and something else I think) ... and Shawn was more than happy, and willing to help out with any advice that I needed. Prices, although not free, were still good. The equipment itself was recieved in a timely manner, and the fit and finish was (is) top notch. The aftercare, ( Ihad a question re: pilots/jets) was answered quickly without any hassles. I will do business with BC again without hestiation.

Hope this helps.

FYI...I ordered to Hamilton Ont.

I placed an order on Aug. 20th and am waiting for delivery. Included axle nut covers, pazzo levers and flyscreen. Flyscreen has a note under Availability saying "5-7 days (May Be Available Sooner - Call)", and I haven't bothered calling, so not exactly sure how long to expect to have to wait. I'm also in a little bit of a unique situation as I live in a border town and routinely ship to a postal outlet in the US, then hop across the border to pick up the goods. Sometimes save when heading through customs... depends on the Cda Customs officer.

Only thing I would like to see in the future is a tracking number so I could check the package status on the Fedex or UPS website.

Hey Davey;

Depending on what you order, I am more than willing to hop on the QE next sat (the 6th) and let you see my Bonnie, and you might get a better idea.

Let me know.

I know, not really an active topic anymore, but I figured it was only fair to give an update to my previous post...

1. I ended up calling British Customs and very quickly (ie. within 60 seconds) had an update on my order. They were still waiting for the flyscreen to come in from Triumph.

2. Order was shipped today and I DID receive a tracking number.

Looking forward to receiving the order - est. date of arrival is in three days. Provided the package arrives safe and sound, I'd definitely order from British Customs again.

Thanks for the update, are they shipping it to you via USPS (mail) or via UPS or other courier? I just can't standing the extra $30 UPS tags you with for their brokerage fee.
