windsor ns ring of fire

sat june 13 - drive to windsor from halifax to fix kickstand kill switch. when i get there Bro's cycle ask me to ride a scooter down to their booth in town. Not being much of a joiner I had no idea that i was about to drive past hundreds of hd, metric at what turns out to be RING o FIRE show and shine and stuff .. So i put my feet as far forward as i could on the 150cc scooter and looked as proud as i can. i came back later on my bonnie and parked to watch the show. easily 500 plus rides. maybe 1000 really freaking loud bikes and it was kinda fun. wow some people like to ride some loud bikes. a few guys liked the retro bonnie but mostly it was " I was a biker in the 70 80 90's show". Lots of grey beards and big bellies. i you like that kinda stuff check it out next year. lots of good camping and stuff.
For the non biker biker there was 2 duc including a 2008 gt1000, 5 triumphs maybe a dozen squids but mostly a tonne of chrome.
ah still kinda fun to see that many bikes together .
