Is it just me or what? This winter feels longer than most. Especially with the new snow that fell this morning. I believe there was at least this much snow this time last year in my area. But for some reason this winter feels very long to me. Im sure if there was heat in the garage that would help but gee whiz will the darn snow go away already !!!!! And no I dont have a sled any longer. the wife and kids took care of that budget. No longer have the midset of He who has the most toys wins! Sandwich grabbers and the wifes hair products took care of that. Why did i get married again ?

Have you seen Ottawa's March weather?
We are 25 cm's away from breaking the all time snowfall record for this area and the forecast for the week after Easter is snow, snow, snow and more friggin' snow.

Hey Colin,

We were going to take the family to Ottawa last weekend and show our kids the nations capital and tour the museums. (Kind of a March break thing for the kids)

With that huge snowstorm we bailed on the drive from Toronto to Ottawa and lost our deposit on the hotel which sucked. You can make me feel better and tell me that if we toughed it out and arrived no traffic was moving and it would not have been a good plan.

If you were planning on arriving on Sat. then you did the right thing. We are still digging out of last week ends snow storm. The biggest problem is that we have no where to push snow and therefore it has to be picked up and hauled away. I have a snow bank on my front yard that is 10 feet high, all by shovel. Colin mentioned that we were 25 cm from the record, I think that record is 4.44 m.
