Just letting you all know, Echo cycle is putting on their monthly breakfast on May 26 and RAT will have a Poker Run to follow.

Breakfast @ 10am and ride starts at 11am

Ride ends about 4pm back @ Echo and then the BBQ

Sadly I have already entered a golf tourney for work or I would be joining you too. Hate missing a fun event

I would come but my wife is hosting a baby shower for a friend and I have to watch the lil ones.

My youngest asked if he could come on a ride last week. He told me he'd wear his bicycle helmet and promised to hold on really really tight.

I will make time for the track day in June though--went last year and it is a blast. Well worth your $. Plus you can safely wear off your chicken strips

Unfortunately the prairie roads will eventually lead to the pic in my sig.

No poker run for me: the bike is down at echo awaiting a lower fork leg after the caliper mount bolts stipped out.

I'd be choked if I wasn't working this weekend, Not really echo's fault anyway they were probably over torqued from the factory, when I finally get it back I should have the soft lever cured though.

I'll be at the track day though

I went and it was a great time. Didn't make the breakfast but did get there before the group headed out on the highway. The weather was great but the wind added a bit of a challenge. We covered about 250ks stopping at Stratotech Park, Redwater, Mundare and back to the shop for a BBQ and pop which was most welcomed after all that riding.

Out on the road my Speedmaster gave a bit of trouble so the staff from Echo stepped in, did some adjusting and hopefully it is now fixed but it really only acted up on a long ride so I guess I better get back out there

I couldn't make it either...

I did do 800kms on Sunday though-- Sask Crossing and back. Hit rain 2x and hail once on the way up and rain on the way back (never for more than 15 min though). It was great though, I dried out within 20 minutes every time.

I brought my little coleman backpacking stove and a kettle to boil water and made myself a freezedried lunch of jamacan chicken and rice (purchased from MEC). Not bad.
