I am really starting to hate winter.
I have my new bike sitting in a garage, and its freezing out!
There is nothing worse than a bike payment when you can't ride!! I take that back, it would be worse to have no bike at all!!
Just had to vent, sorry. While I am here, are there any RATS who live in the kootenays besides me. I have seen a blue/white Bonnie a few times too many to be just passing by.
Cold in the kootneays,
Nate

I'm with you Nate, weather in the Toronto area has been the craps since the beginning of September (except for the Thanksgiving long weekend when it was fantastic). I was hoping to get in at least 1000-2000 kms this fall, instead, maybe 500 kms.
Cabin fever is setting in and it's only November, this could be a longggg winter.

Im having an incredibly long winter already. I drove my first new bike ever (05 Thruxton) until early august when I was knocked off of it by a young driver, driving with her head up her a$$. So that was the end of my riding season, as the bike was destroyed and I needed some recovery time. I just ordered my 07 Thruxton last week and I wont even be able to see it until next spring. Oh well, only six more months to go.....HA!!!!

I can still ride the Thruxton in Montreal, but no high speed ride it's waaaay to cold.
the later the snow will show up, the better I'll be.

Last Saturday it was +18 here in Lethdridge, windy but warm. I had to go out of town for the day but no biggy right. Saturday night is went down to -15 and snowed about 8 inches through the day. My bike has sat outside with snow on it this week because I did not put it away hoping to ride again. This weekend supposed to warm up again, I hope to clean the bike up and tuck it in for the winter.

It's not the temp that bothers me, its the SNOW!!
Might be a little bit dangersous, as there is 6 inches of it on the road.
The onle riding I'll get done is back and forth in the garage, and on my summer holiday in OZ where I'll have to rent a bike.
Later

Yeah, well.........snow can kinda put a damper on the two-wheeled fun.
The "diggers" have some nice roads in Oz, something to look forward to I suppose.
