Born and raised here in Calgary and this is the strangest year yet.
Record high temps to come for the next few days means the Triumph is coming out of hibernation.

How lucky can we get?

I took my 05 sprint out on Jan 7th for a bit of a blast, had to ride though the snow in my back yard to get it to the road, but it was 10 outside, had a nice little 50 K trip. I would have it out today if I did not have to work.

I took a ride on Christmas day with my son on the back.
Being originally from Saskatchewan it was a weird feeling thats for sure. This winter has been exceptionally warm and I'm not complaining :-)

I haven't checked the almanac yet but here's hoping for no monsoon season in July this year.
Some of the seasoned Alberta vets are saying nice winter = no so nice summer.

I am an optimist.

What happened to the nice weather? I've been on the bike every month since I got it a couple of years ago, but there's an awful lot of snow out there now.

By the way - who has the caspian blue sprint ST in Calgary, we've passed a few times on hwy22.

Well, I hope that this recent bit of poor weather has bought us a nice riding season...

I have a caspian Blue '05 sprint, I am from Lethbridge though. I have been on 22 a few times last summer, two to be exact. Went for a couple of day rides up to Nanton, then across to 22 down to Lundbreck and back across to Lethbridge. Great day trip.

Keep the rubber side down,

Dr. Triumph
