Mr and Mrs Bull had organised the latest SE Qld RATBAGS ride. About 40 Triumphs and a handful of other makes of bike, turned up at Beenleigh at the start point on a freezing cold (yes, we do get them here occasionaly) sunday morning. The ride went from Beenleigh-Tambourine-Murwillumbah-Kyogle-Rathdowney and finished in Beaudesert. Mrs Bull had her 8 year old sun riding pilion and it was his Birthday, so at lunchtime in the Kyogle pub, they had arranged a Triumph America birthday cake for him.
We only made it half way round the ride because Mrs. Welshrob copped a stone through the radiator on the Daytona and it dumped all it`s coolant. The only other drama was one of the ladies, Kerri had a spill, resulting in a broken thumb and a couple of cracked ribs. Otherwise, a great day out.

The usual run out for breakfast, over Tomewin and down to the Mooball Cafe, home via Stoker`s Siding, Tyalgum and the Numinbah Valley. There were 22 Triumphs and half a dozen assorted Jap/Italian bikes, too.

Tankman

Nice pics Rob,
the Tasrats went up to the Superbikes at Symmons Plains on 31st Aug 08. About 12 bikes met up at the Brighton Bakery for the ride up. We stop at Campbell Town for coffee and picked up another couple of bikes. All in all it was a great day wit lots of good hard racing. On the ride home we took the Mud Walls road which we had a ball on and as usual the mighty Dozer led the way.
