How do I buy NH Togas?

Hi Triumph lovers!

Anyone out there bought Norman Hyde toga pipes for their Bonnie? If so, where did you source them? And, did you re-jet?

I feel reluctant to buy them directly through NH by mail, but that may be the only option.

Many thanks, and safe riding.

cheers,
Pete - Melbourne.

Out of those 72, maybe only a dozen are bonnie owners, none of whom know where to get NH Togas in Aus. Try posting in the twins section or on the RATBAGS forum. Good Luck!

Just FYI If you DO manage to find someone stocking them in Aus, they will probably be 3 times the price you will pay directly from NH.

To give you an example, my TORS cans for my speedy, cost me $450 from the USA plus $60 P+P, They cost $1200 here!

I`m all for supporting the local dealers but sometimes it`s just a no-brainer.

How do I buy NH Togas?

Thanks for your reply, welshrob.

I had a feeling someone would say that. With the $OZ so good at the moment I can get the full toga system (direct from the U.K) for around AUD680...not bad. My only fear is my credit card will be debited and I'll never see the goods.

Norman Hyde has been around for a long time - I guess I'll have to take the risk. I really don't want to pay $1,200 for the local Staintune system...hmmm.

cheers,
Pete

Have you checked out the NewBonneville.com site?
I haven't got the Togas but I've bought other gear from them and they provided a good service, arrived around 7-8 days after ordering.
Price is quoted at US$550. Postage and insurance probably around $70-80. Beats Norman Hydes price.

Thanks for the Bonnie info!

OzRover - you're a legend. Thanks for the recommendation -- I've checked out NewBonneville.com and IS the cheaper and safer option. Helps with the Aussie dollar at near parity with $US.

Cheers!
Pete.

Togas are the way to go

I put Togas on my 05 T100 about 6 months ago and absolutely love them. The bike has balls now and sounds like angels singing when I start it up.

I ordered mine from NewBonneville.com and it took about 7 months to finally get 'em - but honestly, it was well worth the wait. BritishCustoms.com has them too for about the same price.

I did have to rejet - and went ahead and removed the AI at the same time. There are some cool vids on YouTube so you can hear them - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFHKIKJUFIo

Toga! Toga! Toga!

Thanks Hellbilly.

Wow 7 months - better late than never. I feel a lot more comfortable using NewBonneville.com now that I have read some positive feedback from Oz customers.

Yes, everybody seems to love their Togas - that's why I'm so keen on them. Can't wait to fit 'em!

Thanks for the link, too.

cheers,
Peter
