Hi all. Just looking at starting a new RAT group on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. I am based in Noosa and have a group of RATs who ride together from time to time, but would like to get some organised rides happening. If you are in my area and would be interested in this let me know. Also, does anyone know what the official channels are, if any? Looking forward to hearing from keen riders.

Hi fellow (and fellowesse) riders. I am based in Noosa On the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. We have a small group of 4 Tiumph riders based here, and ride on an irregular basis. We would like to to get a new RAT group going and look forward to hearing from interested riders. There is already a RAT operating out of Suntate Motorcycles in Maroochydore, but seems to be fairly innactive. Look forwarding to hearing from you.

We are moving to Caloundra later next year and will be looking for some riding mates.
You have some fantastic roads there especially up into the hills away from the coast - and a perfect climate for it.
Davem took me for a trip up there earlier this year - Montville,etc.
Are you on Sprints?

Two Sprints and a Daytona 955i at this stage, and we let another guy on a VFR800 tag along. Yes you're right there are heaps of great roads all the way from Gympie right through to Brisbane. Fantastic run through thye Mary Valley but if you want to ride that you better hurry before the Traverston Dam goes up.

I normally do Mt Glorious, Mt Mee normally and Maleny way when I have the time. DaveM is on the northside too and is a hoot to ride with.. he'll chime in soon, I bet.

Hi Silversprinter,
I am a Brisvagas man on the Northside and regularly do rides up your way, most weekends including the Mary river valley.

I am interested, although I am not generally into large group rides, I regularly ride with two or three trusted friends.

There is a special RAT forum for this subject and I will merge this thread to be with the other one I already moved there last time you posted.

If you guys are interested the RAT forum is the place to look folks.

I`d suggest you check out the 'Ratbags' sticky, on this board, they regularly have group rides on the Sunshine coast.
