At last, Spring is here and the Tasrats are off again on Sunday 30 th Sep 07. With the good weather the leaving time has been moved forward 0900 hrs and the new meeting place is at Richmond. This time the mad Tasrats are off to Oatlands via Runnymede, Levendale and Parattah. Then its it across to Bothwell for lunch via the Midlands Hwy, Melton Mowbray. Then it is home by way of the Hamilton pub for a coldy and back through New Norfolk. With the warmer weather hopefully more people will join us. If anyone from the mainland is visiting then let me know and maybe we can catch up at the Sep ride.

Hey Tankman how did the ride go? Did u get a good turn out? Went for a scoot today, as u say the weather is turning good and today was ppperfect up here in the blue mtns, no traffic just the tona and the twisty bits!!!

Pete,
it poured with rain that day so we called off the ride as often happens here in Tassie. I stayed home lit the fire and parked mine arse in front of the Telly and watched Mad Max 1 & 2. This month we are off down south to Southport for lunch at the pub, via Huonville & Dover. The trip home will be back through Huonville, Nicholls Rivulet, Snug & Kingston. Start time is 10 am at Richmond, if its raining I'm staying at the pub. Anyway will let you know how it goes.

mate had a great turn up about 14 bikes the weather was kind to us no rain. The only down side was that the Southport pub was shut so we went back to the Dover for lunch. The ride home was great as we went via Nicholls Rivulet, which a pearler of a road, good surface and lots of tight corners. All up we did about 300 km which is a nice short trip to blow the cobwebbs out of the motors.
