I knew the Tiger had some heat issues and when I test rode it I didn't notice it as much but now after a few daily commutes I can't even look at the thing. Even at 20-25c the seat and thighs get hot to the point that I am sweating in my pants. Not sure what I can do, I might try a AirHawk cushion I have from my previous GS but if that doesn't work I think it will be a quick Good Bye.
Anyone has a solution for that or recommendations? is this something should expect or maybe get used to?
It makes a big difference what type of pants you wear too, I found that something like Draggin jeans allow a lot more heat onto legs than my RST textile pants. Hope it gets better and/or you get used to it.
Sorry to hear that you are having buyer's remorse. They (appear) to be a great bike and even the best choice can have "areas for improvement".
Is there any insulation or heat shields that can be fitted? Have you searched the Tiger section of the main forum as they are full of handy tips.
Good luck with it all.
