Hello,

I am fairly new to the world of Triumphs having just bought a 1997 Triumph Sprint after about 18 months off due to the birth of my son. Had a BMW before but the budget doesnt stretch that far anymore so have bought the bike I always wanted to but could never afford when they first came out.

Next year however we are emigrating to Adelaide or nearby so I guess the Triumph will have to go but high up on my priority list in Oz will be to get another bike, hopefully a Triumph.

Are there any members from Adelaide on this forum. Are there any regular bike meets. Is there a decent Triumph dealer in SA. Any decent roads.

At the moment it seems like a bit of a leap into the unknown even though my wife's family come from SA but being able to get out on the bike I'm sure will make it easier.

Any info greatfully received.

Cheers

Martyn

Adelaide Triumph riders

Hello Marty,
There is a new and very active Triumph club in Adelaide!! You are more then welcome to join. We have monthly rides and these are GREAT social events. The area around Adelaide is perfect for bikes and our rides, generally about 200 to 250km in length take in beautiful winding roads through the Mt Lofty Ranges and coast as well as faster roads with nice long sweeping bends. The weather is usually very good and it is rare that a ride is cancelled - summer or winter.

There is a local Triumph dealer and, personally, I have only had positive experiences with them. However, I have found a VERY good private mechanic (an Englishman) not far from where I live. He works from his home but he is VERY good.

here is the link to the Triumph club in Adelaide...

We look forward to your company...
Regards
Hans
