Hi All,

I am almost due for my 20,000 K service and was looking for advice/experience on the best place to get it serviced in or around Brisbane.

I've heard mixed reports for Team Moto Triumph at Springwood. I've heard recommendations with respect to Gold Coast Triumph.

What's the go?

Who did you end up going with and were you happy?

I went with Ozzy in the end.
I wasn't 100% happy to be honest.
Ended up with the wrong map installed for the ECU. Some map off the internet. I took it to Triumph Springwood a couple of days ago and they installed the correct map and it runs a lot better.
There were a few things like in the list of work done, cleaning the chain was listed but it was clearly not cleaned.
I had a problem after the service with oil leaking and he said it was because the o-ring was stuffed. It wasn't, it was just done up too tight.

Hmmm I've used Ozzie before (not with my Triumph) and was reasonably happy, but he doesn't miss you with the bill.

How did you find Triumph Springwood? Assume that's team Moto? Who will you use next time?

After one visit $55 they loaded a genuine tune into the ECU (it had a non=genuine one loaded) they were not able to find any problems.

The problem however is still there and I have it booked in for more "investigation" on Thursday. They are guessing that it might have bad fuel and there is perhaps some water in the tank. Two hours labour to drain the tank and bleed the injectors.

Kinda disillusioned with Triumph as a brand. Never had any issues with my SV in the 4 and a half years that I owned it.

Ahhh don't say that I had a gsxr for 4 years, never skipped a best and now in my second week of street triple!! I hope it continues as it's started - perfectly!!??

I had my 1050 Sprint serviced at Team Moto Virginia for its 20 K service a few months back .They seemed to have done a fairly competant job , certainly no glaring issues

I have work done at Team Moto Virginia on both the bonnie and the tiger and never had a problem. They are always friendly, helpful and professional. I guess it is an individual thing and sometimes things go wrong but I have no complaints with them.

Out of curiosity, why were they playing around with the map in the first place?
