I bought my ST-R from Bikebiz Granville (Jarrod) and they also did the first service and I was very happy with their work - only thing I didn't like was the location, Granville is a pig of a place to get to anywhere from and there's nothing to do if you wait (I may be strange but I find I can only look at new bikes for so long).

On the other hand, I get my BMW serviced at St Peters and I've not had any problems with them either, I also had the ST-R serviced there last time (see comment about Granville location) and had no issue with the Trumpy service work although I don't think they lubed the chain very well which comes back to the question "what else don't they do that I can't see?".

I recently bought my Storm from the guys at TeamMoto, Blacktown. I've heard nothing but good things about the sales guys and service team. I have mates who get all there servicing done there aswell. My mates own a thunderbird, Yamaha yzf1 and a triple speed... All there bikes run well and have no complaints. Not to mention when i see them and ask some novice questions regarding bikes, I'm NOT made to feel stupid.

I recommend Northside Motorcycles for your services .... [if you don't do them yourself.]

Chris the service manager is a good bloke who really knows Triumphs backwards, Steve and Nikko all ride, they know a lot about bikes and gear.

The mechanics there are reliable and do a decent job.

Carl the owner has been around bikes for ages, he's a no nonsense type of guy who runs a tight ship.

Overall, they do a good job and usually go the extra yard to keep their customers happy.

Last time I took my speedmaster to procycles st peters (admittedly 2 years ago now) I was not just disappointed with the service but verging on the furious. My bike had done about 60,000km and the valves were getting a bit noisy so I booked it in to get the shims done. (I do normal services myself)
went to pick it up and paid my money and asked them how many shims had they done to be told that they had decided not to do them and that they would be ok till next service because they did were not bad !!! Stunned I asked for the measurements and it was then they admitted that they had only 'listened' and decided that it did not sound to bad.

They of course refused to refund a bit of the money I had paid for the shims to be done. Add to that the bike was covered in oily fingerprints and a chain that had not been adjusted never mind cleaned (despite also being charged for it)

Will never use them again untill I can be assured that they have new staff in the workshop.

The bit that really hurt was that I used to recommend pro cycles to other riders
