Brizzy mechanic??

Please don't tell me TeamMoto are the only ones who do Triumph work in the Brisbane area... I've heard Moto Arena is good but they're quite a trip.

Anyone know what happened to Skip's Performance? His website's down, is his business still alive?

You don't have to take your triumph to TeamMoto even if it is under warranty. I was recently talking to a friend who takes his Thruxton to a performance bike mechanic on the north side who did his apprenticeship with Triumph 30yrs ago and he swears by his impeccable work.
I can get his name and number if you wish.

hmmm, I maybe swapping shops. Got my 1000km service done at Team Moto Virginia and then took off for a weekend trip to Glen Innes.

Arrived to find oil had puked out the dipstick and all down the right rear of the bike. Now have the fun job of getting rid of the dried oil from my bike.

How do you over-fill a bike with a dipstick? he he, kind of a rhetorical question

Does Skips have loan bikes? And is the Triumph warranty still valid after going to him? Does he do Triumph warranty work? etc, etc, etc.

he he,

this is a useful thread, I have been considering going to Moto to have some mods done on my Thrux, (from Byron Bay) have enquired about Noyes in Lismore but they're basically a Honda dealership. This guy sounds like the ticket, especially if he lends bikes.

hey ya lads i have been in the bike industry for 30 years( not anymore ) and any qualified spanner swinger can service your bike from day one and the warrenty is valid with triumph or any brand
go for the one man ( or two ) shops they will always look after you better than the big shops
