Spy shots: Triumph's new twin
These spy pictures reveal Triumph testing the almost-finished version of their parallel twin cruiser. The motorcycle is believed to be between 1820 and 1920cc, which puts the motorcycle in line with other big cruisers from Harley Davidson and the Japanese...

I wonder where THOSE figures came from?
Can you even tell that the bike in the 'spy shots' is even a Triumph?
As far as I was aware the new Triumph twin was supposed to be between 1500 and 1700cc.

those spy shots
they were photographed in Hinkley, supposedly near the factory gates, etc. One of the rumours going round is that there will be two versions. One of roughly 1400cc and one of 1800cc. No idea if that is true.

Those may be the most useless spy pics I've ever seen.
Ah, whatever, I don't care anyway unless they shoehorn that engine into a Thruxton.

Still Missing the Middle
If it is that big, they are still missing the middle market. I am 5'7" and was hoping it is more the 1500 range so the mass/weight of the bike is something I feel more comfortable with. I have an America now and if I wanted a bike that big I might as well get a Rocket. All the threads I read seem to want a bike in that 1300-1500 range...I guess we'll see soon enough. And yes, those spy shots are useless.

I agree, they don't reveal that much - but someone is already hitting me up for "right to use" money - on pictures that aren't being displayed here.
Surely folks know how to use the WWW better than that.

These cruisers are starting look like everyone else's cruiser. Ho Hum. Even the new Rocket tourer looks way too much like a Hog for taste. I have always ridden Triumph because they are unique - not another lemming bike.
