I just got my '05 ST and have barely ridden it. That being said, the tweaks I would have liked to see along with the new headlamp are: Gear Position indicator, emergency flashers & improved seat removal, .

The above nit-picks aside, I love my new bike. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can ride it.

Thumbs up Looks good to me

I always take it as a good sign when a bike has subtle tweaks like this. Must mean that it's fulfilling its potential in the marketplace.

I must get around to taking one for a test ride at some stage. What do others think? Is it worth replacing my BMW R1150RT for? Being used for two-up continental touring as well as solo and here in the UK?

I want one

I test rode a 2007 ST last fall. I think it's a great bike. I have never ridden 1150RT so I can't compare them for you. As for two-up, the ST struck me as a bit small for it. I guess it depends on the size of your passenger

Never ridden an RT, but from what I have read, it is probably better suited to touring and two-up riding. In the realm of sport touring bikes, the Sprint and VFR seem to be biased to the sport side of it, and bikes like the RT, FJR1300, Concourse 14, while sporty, are probably much more comfortable to ride long distances.

They need to make the bags bigger so they will take a full face helmet.

Wink What about this?

It would be nice to see a stock helmet lock, a hinged seat that flips over instead of having to be removed when you need to get to the battery compartment, some better heat shielding under the seat, and an optional converter for the electric aux. plug in under the front cowling.

I really like the helmet lock and the hinged seat ideas.
