I purchased a carbureted '07 Bonneville. Am I to understand that a fuel injected model will be in the offering for '08?

IMHO It seems a bit of overkill. The transmission clunky (old school) could not possibly benefit from such a change. If left as is, it will negate the purpose of a fuel injection system. 0 to 60 in seconds is not the Bonneville.

Can the bike as designed really benefit from a FIS? I guess the last carb'ed bikes will become the neo classic collectable. I am sad to hear the news.

For those of you who do not mind a FIS please post a ride report. There must be other changes not obvious to the naked eye.

Unfortunately the Fuel Injection has nothing to do with trying to get more performance from the engine, it does however have everything to do with passing emissions standards..

By the way the U.S. models are still carbureted.. SORRY!!
