The dealer I talked to today said his store wasn't getting the 08 information until mid- to late-October.

I think we're all itching to find out what's going on.

My money is on a scaled down Rocket III clone with a 1500cc inline engine. If my wildest dreams of a revamped Thunderbird Sports was to materialize I would be first in line for one. I can't see a 1500cc engine in a Bonneville, possibly a Speedmaster but evidently there is no change in the 2008 model apart from a larger tank.

Bonneville Changes

Ref Corky's comments..... but evidently there is no change in the 2008 model apart from a larger tank.

The new Bonnies will move to fuel injection to cope with emission laws, but will retain a mock carburettor body for styling. The tank will be bigger and have a more rounded appearance. It will still only hold the same amount of fuel though as it will have a fuel pump installed inside it. (Saw one on a recent factory tour).

Also saw the new Rocket Tourer. Awesome bike as all Rockets are!

It is getting a metal tank. No clue if any other changes are scheduled.
