MCN first with the news again. Looks like the bike is set up for touring with luggage and rear seat backrest.

There have been a few posts on these forums about the viability of a 1500cc twin so it will be interesting to see the details unfold.

It would be nice if they'd offer hard bags for the cruisers... something that used a bracket that would accomodate all of the models (Would also be cheaper to manufacter...) Oh wait, yeah I forgot, British engineering (it's like German love stories, Italian politics, and humility here in the States).

No, the link isn't coming up. I hate that when it gives you a [u]more[u] link and you click it and nothing happens. Just post the photo instead of this 'more' B.S.

I think it's just a pile of it. I don't think there is any 1500 Triumph at all. It's a lie.

There, it finally came up. But it's not worth anything. It's a photo of a bike about a mile away behind a hill. You could say it was Yetti and it would be the same thing.

I'll be danged if Triumph comes out with a 1500 Cruiser and ther has been absolutely no other leaks about it. There hasn't been a word. When the Daytona and the Street Triple were officially announced everyone knew about it months in advance. I think someone at MCN is dreaming.

Triumph leaked it to their top US dealers at the last big conference. I heard about it shortly after. A few weeks after that, rumors about it started appearing in this forum. Now fuzzy photos taken from behind some bushes surface. Seems like the Street Triple unveil all over again. I think it's all very calculated. I'd guess a month to a month and a half before an official announcement.

Anyhow, the 2007 Triumph Dealer Meeting isn't until October 13th (in Atlanta, GA) I doubt that any announcement is 'just weeks away'. Any Triumph announcement won't be until the dealer meeting so I again say that the story is Basement Scraps.

Interesting if it happens, but it's hard to tell anything at ALL about the engine from those tiny, fuzzy shots. Be nice if they'd explain how they deduced just exactly what it was from views like that.

In the pick from the rear, it looks like the header pipe is visible.
Looks like what would be on a parallel twin.

I know all this early speculation is pointless, but I enjoy it anyway.
