World’s wildest Triumph Rocket III?
Whether you like American custom styles or not, it’s impossible to deny the DuSold designs Triumph Rocket III grabs attention. The 2300cc Triumph Rocket III engine is barely recognisable under a coat of blue and turquoise paint, and the long,...

Now take the same design and use the classic's blacked out engine, add hard bags and a fairing and you have a Rocket I'd buy! I love the lack of chrome, looks tastful and would save hours on cleaning/polishing!
As for the original custom posted, Its kind of neat, but like OCC I don't think its a ridable machine... all show and no go (Even for a rocket)

Unless the engine swings in the frame, it's utterly unrideable. What would that thing have, maybe 3 degrees of lean angle? 5, if you stay on the high point in the road?

Note the rear suspension is an air bag and the bike is lowered int he pic... but still .. it is a great big useless penis

Cool...
Cool-looking, that is, because, I don't see no radiator. So, it can't actually stay cool. I wouldn't worry about lean angle or rear suspension, because I doubt a rocket engine without a radiator would run long enough to discover any other short-comings.
Yet another example of motorcycle 'art'. Myself, I fail to see the 'art' in a non-functional machine.

Looking at the air scoops on the side and the pipes coming from the motor, I would guess that the radiator is laying horizontally under the motor.

You are quite right; I see the radiator hoses, and the radiator. Okay, so it has one. It may be functional, after all. I wouldn't want to bet on it, not put to any real use, but it may work.
The Brit-Custom R3 at least works, or so one would assume from the photo. As to appearances - I'd rather have the factory model. It looks like something 'styled' by a couple of kids in the 2nd grade.
Oh, well.

That blue chopper by Mike Dusold came in second place on the Metric Revolution TV show. The competition included a ride in the desert, and of the three Rocket IIIs in the competition, Mike's wasn't the one that overheated.
