Frankly, I am sick of Harley crap posted on a triumph site. As far as I am concerned the only value a Harley has is as scrap metal. I am furious with triumph hiring ex Harley staffers in the UK and the USA, and the placing of new triumph dealers in Harley shops.

The sun doesn't rise and set on Harley's command, and triumph can hardly give away its cruiser bikes. Triumph quit supporting the riders groups, and since the Harley clique took over, they only show up at events which are a waste of time for 3/4 of triumph owners. Sturgis and Daytona. Yet they don't show up at the MOTOGP, world superbike, vintage days, etc. Oh, did I mention the triumph bike test ride trailers are no longer operating? Since people who ride triumphs are buying more than that stupid eagle logo, test rides are important.

I bought my 2010 America with 400 or so on the clock for $6500. I have been happy ever since.

There is something to be said about choosing the path less traveled. Also, I'll put the build quality of my triumph up against any harley, any day.

My wife's America has far exceeded my expectations and now has me looking to add another triumph to our stable for myself. I have no desire to hear about Harley until they realize it is time to re-invent which Buell gave them a chance at and we see where that line went.

I love my Bonnie; and if my son wants to spends his weekends working on his Harley; more power to him!

I bought the 08 America last year and am happy as hell with it. Been looking at a Heritage Softail Classic and might sell out Can't argue with the FLSTC being one sweet machine.

I like all motorcycles. No need to bash. Plus if they want to put Triumph into Harley dealers that is a true sign that Triumph is making gains in the USA. I like the idea of having the benefit of a very large dealer network.

I agree, I bought my 1st bike in 2005 because I loved it, a 2002 HD Vrod. Didn't buy it for name etc... nor did I know it was the most despised HD in history by HD. 105,000 miles later I still love that bike and I also love my new Scrambler, 2 different rides completely. There are Many HDs I do not like, Sporties I do, my Ex bought an Iron and I had a great time riding that bike, difference is I dont preoccupy myself caring what anyone else thinks. Lot of you sound just as bad or worse then the HD dummies I have come in contact with. It's not the Bikes its the People. So busy talking crap about other people and their bikes etc... like a bunch of Hens. Like I tell those HD dummies I hear "STop buying the Lifestyle and Just ride your damned bike" You ain't putting at least 10,000 miles a year on you shouldn't be talking about anyone else. Most have more Shirts and hats then miles. But than again you can wear your little hats and shirts and Corp Outfits while standing around talking about everyone else instead of riding anyways. Do you get pissy about other peoples Taosters and Coffee Makers too? Kust hang out with Kitchen Aid types and make fun of Cuisinart types?
