McQueen was the Jay Leno of cars and motorcycles back in the day however an Olive Green and Black Motor with wire headlight protector would be more of a "Great Escape" edition Bonnie.
Marlon Brando Special Edition Thunderbird Storms?
Sonny Barger Special Edition Sportsters?
Fonz Special Edition Hanes Tee Shirts?
Bernard Law Montgomery Special Edition Tigers (because it would kick Bosch BMW Dakar Models in the Sand)?
Hunter S Thompson Special Edition Rocket 3's (because you would have to be on drugs to open it up all the way)?
I don't mind seeing the Special Editions really. I see them in the showrooms and take a glance at them. To own one and drive it would be like scheduling lots of unwanted conversations about why I bought it. No questions needed about the standard non special edition model. LOL!
1200cc's. It has been predicted for years. Will these trickle down to the other 1050cc models is the question or another engine in secret development? Triumph never ceases to surprise.
Daytona new styling in the works... Talk of a production Bobber America... 800cc Street Triple?
I wonder why nobody mentions the 800cc triple motor Triumph have in production, completely redesigned from the 675 methinks this will tune very easily. The extra stroke of the 800 motor 61.9 stroke times 87 bore produces an 1105cc motor for Triumph not hard to do.
Triumph would not have produced a new engine with only one capacity in mind.
ey up new model instantly stick the 800 motor in the Street Triple
I test rode the new tiger 1200,its well balanced and low enough for me to get on.Missis wasn`t too chuffed with the high perch, shes six inches shorter than me as well! One note though was the fueling whilst feathering it in deceleration, seemed to surge. In all other conditions it was fine. It still hasn`t hit the wow button with me yet.You know, the wow I want one no matter what
I would really like to see Triumph come out with a "touring" biketo compete with the gold wing and dressers from Harley. I do not like the sport tours not comfy enough.
