I'm detecting a little resentment over the dealer's service department charging for their time to reset the service indicator when they weren't asked to carry out the service in the first place. I don't understand why they shouldn't charge for this service; perhaps you can enlighten me?

Are you saying that the Triumph triple will be, in some way, inferior to the BMW flat twin? Your analogy that the BMW is the only one that quacks like a duck is probably a good one, I'll stick with the Triumph triple that barks like a rottweiler!

I really don't want to go look at the Trophy, as my RT is only four months old and is so nice.
I've wasted enough money doing bad trades already... BTW, my service reminder is on on the RT, and will stay that way. Doesn't effect the bike at all and the dealer wants to charge to reset, since I did the last service myself, not them...
