Apparently they are selling like crazy so it can't be too bad right? I was in Saxapahaw last wknd and met a fellow on one. He loves it. Had nothing but good things to say. I suppose you may be inclined to overlook some flaws on a toy you just paid 14k for though, at least initially.

I have to say the seating position looks better now than in the first few spy shots we saw. The rider looked like a dog taking a crunch back then.

Triumph wants you to think that they are selling like crazy but I'm not sure that they are. I've been to two dealerships. Both dealerships have four Bobbers sitting on the showroom floor (eight total). As the weather gets better that will probably change but right now the cruiser market is saturated.

I like the looks of the bike and I would love a low seat for a change. Some of the electronic features - like traction control - are interesting.

I thought about trading for one but I don't think I could get enough for my Scrambler. Oh well. :|

I think this is a bomb around town short hop bike. It's not a tourer for sure: the Rocket III is built for that role. Triumph saw a niche and filled it. Tons of subscribers have built bobbers out of their Bonnies, and many more obviously wanted a bobber but didn't have the fab skills or equipment to do it. Triumph made this possible for them. No bike fits everyone's physique. I've done a number of things to mine to make it fit me better but nothing is going to make riding as comfortable as sitting in a recliner. Thank God for that. People in cars are now so saturated with 10 way power seats, electronic conveniences, and entertainment systems it's no wonder that distracted driving is more dangerous than driving impaired.

Do a YouTube search on the seat adjustment.
It's adjustable up, down, forward and backward. The way my dealer had it set up was for the average rider, whatever that is. It was way to small for me. I'd need to go all the way back and up then give it a try again. I'm a little on the above average side.

I,ve not ridden one yet but what i,ve read looks good. Triumph seem to have found a new niche and why not, the ready made Bobber hits the spot for a lot of folk. With a plethora of bolt on factory parts to "make it yours" i,m sure the cash registers at Triumph dealers around the globe will be ringing to the sound of profit. Great stuff.

For me... It needs a bigger headlight. I don't like the angle of the front forks. The tire looks like it needs to be kicked out forward a few more degrees.
It would be neat if someone could fabricate some sort of rear rack/rear seat add on, that calls to mind that of an old BMW R series, like an R71 or something.
I'd like it if the pipes hung lower, more like the profile on the Bonneville

Saw it finally a few weeks ago. Ergo's are horrible, the Fowardish controls combined with drag type bars? Adjustable seat or not I could not find a comfortable position. (And I own a VROD so forwards are not foreign to me) I like a lot of the parts but I also once again find Trumpets over use of Fake Bits amazing. Yes you do not need Fins on a water cooled bike but motors look off without them (Look at Indian Scouts) so that's fine but the rest of it why?
Oh and you want to ride a canyon on this thing with how low it is and exhaust on both sides? I had a hell of a time on my Ex's Sportster that was not as low and exhaust on just 1 side. Too bad I like lots about it design wise, mono shock, rid of all the terrible plastic chrome crap Trumpet loves to use, the awful rubber tank pads and big horrid emblem is gone and it has that nice motor in it. Don't think the headers will turn that terrible Blue color either.

This thing on the other hand is a damn shame what a waste of space and misuse of the term Scrambler. They finally get the exhaust right and ruin the rest of the bike....

I really like the looks of this and have read a ton of positive reviews. Like glowing.

I had a chance to sit on one the other day. The handle bars are a bit of a reach for me and I think the seat was most of the way forward. It sounds great too. Having said that, I think the best bike for me is the T120.
