I was asked to "critique" my new T100, now that the Trophy 1200 has been traded in. As I said before, I'm very happy with it and its performance as well as the brakes. I was not expecting the bike to be so quick (and smooth, for a twin) or, for that matter the single front disc to do the job so well. A small "glitch" in the fuel injection was worked out by the dealer and that's the only thing so far. I've added a luggage rack and bag supports. Hepco Becker engine bars (getting old, you know) and a National Cycle Plexifairing GT; I wanted to use the Plexi 3, which has longer "legs" but National said it wouldn't fit, so I went with their advice. It seems to work as well, if not better, than the "3" on my Virago but it does hit the mirrors necessitating moving them back a bit, so I've ordered some extensions from Norman Hyde to move them out further; that should solve that problem. All in all, i can't say anything bad about the bike and the weather up here has been cooperating so that I can add some miles on it. Now, if I can only get rid of the "extras" from the Trophy that are still in my garage...............

Glad your Bonne is working out!

Hey Jim,
I was lucky enough to keep my Trophy 1200 and pick up a 2012 T-100. I love my Bonne! I added the Triumph luggage rack, skid plate, and center stand. It really is a quick bike! I've put 8600 miles on her, most recently on Dec 2, and can't wait for this confounded snow to leave so I can get back on her! Good rides!

Hi, Goody: I'm not too sure about the forum rules on this, so please drop me a pm and I will give you all the "gory details" Oh, yeah, I got the centerstand (won't have a bike without one) as well.

Thanks: Jim

For sale/wanted ads belong in the Classifieds forum and require pictures of the actual item(s) and price(s). After posting in Classifieds, you're welcome to put a link to that post in the "Parts for sale/wanted" sticky in this forum. You can PM as well, just don't post ads in the discussion forum.

Cheers,
-Kit
