So I saw this on another forum and thought why not here?....

Here are the rules, lets see if we can keep this going...

Name a place or thing to take a picture with your bike. First person to go out, take, and post the picture picks the next one. Must be a picture taken after the challenge picked. Try not to make it impossible. no photochops. If nobody else gets the picture within 5 days the person that picked it can choose a new one. New challenge must be picked when picture of the last one was posted

RULES:

1) After 3 days, the person who made the challenge can post their own picture and pick another topic.

2) If a challenge is not met after 5 days a new topic is picked by the previous challenger winner.

3) If a pic is in dispute, it needs 3 yes votes to be accepted.

4) After any comment, please put the current challenge at the bottom so everyone can stay up to date.

5) Pictures must be taken while OFF of the bike.

6) Pictures must be taken AFTER the challenge. Rare exceptions such as pictures taken on the said day BEFORE the challenge may be accepted only by 3 acceptance votes.

7) Cages may be used unstead of our bikes If and ONLY IF there is snow. This allows us riders in the North to continue playing the game. (PS... this is for everyone else that rides all year long )

8) The following types of challenges are not allowed:
action shots
duplicate challenges
illegal challenges

9) If a picture has been posted but a new challenge has not been picked, the current challenge is still active until (a) new challenge has been picked or (b) another rider posts another picture satisfying the challenge and picks a new challenge.
I will start and make it easy to get the game rolling

pic of your bike next to a scooter.

P.S Remember, the intention of this thread is to get people out riding

Oh, and just as a warning, I think I know where to find a British vehicle, so you guys only get tomorrow to beat me to it.

Bummer....my client bailed on me early today so I figured I could pick this one off easy. I've seen a couple of Land Rovers in town, and there's a independent garage that specializes in European stuff that usually has a Mini sitting in the window, plus the owner has a Discovery II.

Nada. All of them were gone. I then cruised around town checking out driveways and garages but still came up empty.

I considered just shooting a pic of my bike in the garage as you can see the remains of my Adventurer parked right beside it, but decided that was a bit much...

well, darn the luck. neighbor's mini is garaged. Can't blame them though; we currently have dirt blowing by at 45mph and a looming rainstorm moving in.

Place of worship. I got you covered:

One for the Catholics-

One for the Protestants-

And one for the Buddhists-

Not bad for a little town of about 1700 people.

While looking for the Buddhist church, I passed this. Another 'sorta, kinda' british car that's only slightly less annoying than the Countryman that's causing Lefty such pain (I feel it too lefty)

Then on my way back home I decided to swing by the place I had looked earlier to see if the Disco was back. Shazam! A real British vehicle!

And for no particular reason, here's a Caddy (catty?) I saw over by the Buddhist church that's completely enveloped in cats.

Easy one. Here I thought the weather was gonna take me out of it for a while.

If this is acceptable then I say the next challenge be your bike in front of an Irish pub.

:headscratch I'm not sure we have any of those in the Texas Panhandle, but I'll see what I can find. :icon_drink

any of you guys in Ireland have a camera and sober enough to shoot it?

Oddly enough, the nearest gym I know of has been converted into a giant church!

Can I just role my bike into the living room where the girlfriend has a treadmill, an elliptical, a few dumbbells and some other exercise crap?

Oh wait, none of that stuff has actually been used in years...that probably doesn't count.

Yes, looks good to me. I believe we stand at your bike in front of a gym.

That black and white cat looks suspiciously familiar...

Hey wait, I'm somebody!

I give you one Speed Triple in front of one Gym:

Assuming that will work, then for the next challenge

Your bike with something identified with your state or region

By that I mean something people think of when they think of your area. If you're in NYC, maybe you get the Brooklyn Bridge or Empire State Building. In California? How about a redwood or the Golden Gate Bridge? Maybe a winery if you're in the Napa area. Live in the keys? How about a key lime pie? Louisiana? Crawdad! London? Take your pick; Big Ben, the Eye, Tower Bridge... New Zealand? Er...maybe a sheep? We should be able to come up with something good out of this one.

:hmmmmm the Texas Panhandle; flat with no trees -- pretty much for as far as the eye can see. I bet I can get that but it won't be a prticularly pretty picture. :(
