Thanks to my daughter getting me a gift certificate to REI for Christmas, I am able to set my Alps Mountaineering Rendezvous chair aside

and replace it with the smaller, slighter, Alite Mayfly.

It packs so much smaller, and provides the same function. It's not for everybody, but it IS for me!

Stay safe out there,
---Charlie

I invested in the Leki Breeze chair and I've been really happy with it. Easily fits in the saddlebag, 2.4 lbs, and the quality is top notch.

I also have the ALPS chair. It's a little bulky, but it is solid, comfortable, and has padded armrests.
