I was wondering if the tool kits that you can order from the dealers is worth the money. I dont seem to have any tools on the 2000 TB that i bought, thanks.

Well, I looked at ordering one as an extra, more from a convenience point of view than anything else.

When I saw the meagre selection & the hefty price I passed on it.

If you are nervous about being without it, I would make up a kit of what you think you are likely to need from other quality tools & maybe buy an empty tool roll for them.

The Triumph plug spanner is the only one worth having. On the Tbird there is limited access for the plugs. The Triumph box spanner is the right length. You can fit a 16mm socket on the end and use a torque wrench.

What i was looking at was for the back axle to set the chain, and the plug`s , man that middle one look`s ugly, ive made up a substantial tool box for my touring bike, but it is American so now i guess ill have to make up a metric one, thanks for the input, hate to spend money on inferier tools.
