While removing a screw from my original Adventurer silencers to install the hangers on the new peashooter style, I seem to have broken loose one of the insert anchors. Anyone know if this is fixable?? Seems like a pretty poor design and one that must break pretty often.

It *is* a poor design, & I'm not aware of any easy fix for it. Probably too late for you now, but I think the best way to avoid the problem is to leave the bolts that screw the muffler to the hanger well alone. Instead buy a pair of hangers for the new mufflers & when removing mufflers in future, unbolt the hanger from the frame, still attached to the muffler.
regards
Ian.

Methinks your suggestion is probably correct. Anyway, as you said, it's too late for me. Okay, though, because if I want to stay with the 95 peashooters that I got for a deal, I'm going to have to have custom brackets fabricated anyway.
