Hi all,
Just bought a '93 Trophy 1200 with just 9.5k on the clock.
On the ride home from picking it up, I was a little disappointed with the effectiveness of the brakes. I must say I'm used to modern sports bike brakes, but they really are a bit crap! I'm going to give them a service and put some braided hoses on first.
I've read some of the threads on here about fitting Hayabusa 6 pots and the like, but they all seem to be for bikes with the floating disks.
So, has anyone put them on the older non-floating setup?

Floating disks are a must for the 'busa brakes. 5/8" MC is highly recommended as well. I didn't realize the Trophies ever came with fixed discs, but I guess they went to floaters in '94 & didn't come to this side of the pond 'til '95.

Fitting stainless lines will be almost as big an upgrade as the 6-pots.
