I am about to swap the fuel tank over on a 675 Street Triple and am not sure about the Quick release fuel coupling - I have slid the orange clip a few mms down - it only goes a few mms but even with a fair bit of pressure the coupling does'nt seem to want to come apart - it there something I should know ? Another clip perhaps or does the orange clip come all the way off or is it just very very stiff - it seems that if I tug any harder the pipe will break ! - any advise from someone who has already been there would be much appreciated - I would like to try to avoid soaking the garage floor with a gallon of petrol
Try pushing the coupling togeather...then slide the orande clip in, then pull firmly apart while holding the clip in. Im not familiar with the striples fuel sstem, since mine was just delayed....AGAIN, but It sounds similar to the fuel lines onmany American cars.
