Hi,

When I turn my 99 ST off the left headlight stays on, and I have to disconnect the battery, anyone else have the same problem ? or know what the problem is :???:

Hi,

When I turn my 99 ST off the left headlight stays on, and I have to disconnect the battery, anyone else have the same problem ? or know what the problem is :???:

I hate to ask stupid questions, But which direction do you turn the Key. On my Bonnie If you turn the key Forward it turns off the motor and if you turn it off to the rear, it is an accessorry type position which leaves the light on and allows you to remove the Key. If it is not that simple the problem may be in the Ignition Switch? just a thought

Sounds like it could be a faulty relay - stuck in the on position.


JesusHoffa - on the Sprint the key only turns one way. If you turn it all the way left the "third eye" light stays on, not the left headlight.
