Sounds like it could be a faulty relay - stuck in the on position.


JesusHoffa - on the Sprint the key only turns one way. If you turn it all the way left the "third eye" light stays on, not the left headlight.

Just to confirm, this happens when I turn the ignition off and remove the key.
This is an intermittent problem, the headlight does “sometimes” go out when I turn the ignition off. I also decided it might not be a good idea to keep disconnecting the battery every time I turn the ignition off, so now I just unplug the left headlight every time it stays on. Big pain in the ….

Hmmm I was hoping it was my Ultra Symple solution, Are their any similarities in the times it happens (IE Damp after a long Ride) I am kind of leaning with snow dog on the Relay

Hmmm Nope totally random, it stays on more than it goes off, does it have separate relays for each headlight :???: if so that might be the problem
