Has anyone replaced the the cams in a Trophy with Daytona cams?
The specs on the Trophy changed several times during production.
It's curious, if the early bikes were really stronger, why Triumph
lowered the output on the later models. Were the early ones all topend
with no torque, or was the power changed to ensure the
Daytona was the performance king of the line?
My 99 Trophy runs strong but more is better, right? I know the Trophy has lower compression,
so I wouldn't expect the topend to be as strong as a Daytona.
On the surface, this looks like an economical performace mod.
I would like to hear any first hand knowledge or see some dyno charts.
Last thing, does anybody know where to get some cams and what is the going rate?
