Online Parts Source?

I'm looking at buying a new set of Coils for my carb Sprint. I've found them on BikeBandit for $130 each. No luck on eBay. Anyone have any other ideas for price shopping?

The general concensus in the classic triple forum is Nology. They are around $70 each. http://www.nology.com/profiremotor.html

I replaced all my coils with Nology after I had two OEM Gill ones go bad; haven't had any issues with them. The nology coils are actually made by PVL which was the original OEM supplier until Triumph made the switch to Gill.

Part # is 152 001 060T

Description says "Bonneville America, Speedmaster, Scrambler
(needs 2 coils per bike)", but they are the correct coil for the carb triples also.
I'm running them on a Tbird.

Cool, thanks.

Where are they available? It looked like all the places listed were car sources. Any difficulty in tracking them down?

Ordered mine directly from their website.

Click "Buy Now!" under the picture on the page that I provided a link for.

You can also call Nology to order. I've called a couple of times, & spoken to the owner both times! The coils are available with different connectors for the plug wires, so it's important to get the right ones.

Cheers,

The "T" on the end of the part # specifies that it works with the OEM plug wires.

There is also another version (without the T) that works with Nology's plug wires, but those wires are expensive and require you to switch to resistor type plugs.

Thumbs up nology coils

these coils are available from www.newspeedmaster.com and www.newbonneville.com at very reasonable prices.
